Miss Conception films (MCF) was established in 2015 to support first and second time female feature filmmakers to bring an authentic female voice into New Zealand filmmaking both in front and behind the camera.

In recent years our ethos has evolved as has our desire to amplify all marginalised voices - Maori, Pacifika, migrant, LGBT and female. We continue to support and collaborate with these communities through producing high quality screen productions whilst ensuring the communities are represented and supported as filmmakers behind the scenes as well.
