Miss Conception Films (MCF) is a New Zealand production company founded in 2015 by producers Georgina Conder and Ainsley Gardiner. Built from a passion for championing underrepresented voices—especially female creatives—the company has always been anchored by bold, character-driven storytelling and genuine creative collaboration. With a strong commitment to female-led narratives and a broader focus on diverse perspectives, MCF has steadily expanded its footprint across both film and television.

In July 2024, Ainsley Gardiner stepped into a new role as Head of Funding at the New Zealand Film Commission, leaving Georgina to continue leading the company. Carrying forward the vision and passion they established together, she is nowsteering MCF into an exciting new chapter, with an increasing focus on scripted television alongside its acclaimed film work.
